This condo was transformed from a one bedroom/1.5 bath into a two bedroom/one bath property with an extended master bedroom with a waterfront view of the canal.
This condo had particleboard furniture, peeling vinyl and thick carpet that had seen better days. When entering this property the front door led directly into the bedroom that had built-ins around the bed with no room for anything, including furniture.
The floorplan was reworked so the kitchen and bedroom could be completely reversed. What once was a living room, the second bedroom was added and an outdoor patio was transitioned to a sitting room for that bedroom. What once was a bedroom, the kitchen was definitely a challenge to create.
Specific space planning included creative plumbing, custom cabinetry and precise appliance placement.
The ceiling was raised to move the air conditioning/heating system higher to increase the space in the newly configured bathroom although a washer and dryer were also added. The beautiful walnut color in the tile floors blended nicely with the neutral wall color and warm shades of the décor.
